Fiberpartner is launching new products at Index-11 in Geneva from 12-15 April.
March 31, 2011 - Denmark
A polypropylene short cut fiber developed for applications such as wetlaid and mixing in concrete. The fibers are available from 1,5 – 100 den and 3-150 mm cut with a number of finishes and packaging according to requirements.
Solid polyester fiber available in 3,6 & 15 den, and produced from a mixture of virgin PET resin and recycled postconsumer bottle flakes, this high quality, yet competitive polyester fiber is made especially for nonwoven products.
The fiber can be delivered with a dry finish for good resilience in high loft wadding, or with regular finish for needlepunched applications.
“The mixture of virgin and recycled PET material is ensuring stabile quality, and whiteness without the use of optical brightners” says Thomas Wittrup, owner of Fiberpartner. Recently the market for PET postconsumer bottles has been very unstabile. We have experienced supply and quality issues in 100% recycled polyester fibers, which is why we are confident with this mixed fiber” Thomas Wittrup is adding.
At booth #4250 at Index Fiberpartner is showing the range of polyester fibers in solid, hollow & low melts as well as bico and polypropylene.
