Kemrock Industries and Exports Ltd. (KIEL) launched a range of carbon fiber products for industrial applications under the brand name "JAITEC"
The products were launched by Mr. Ashok Nayak, Chairman of Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL), during his visit to Kemrock’s facilities on 1st August 2011, alongwith Shri P. Soundara Rajan, Director, Corporate Planning, HAL.
Appreciating Kemrock’s successful operations & commercial production of carbon fiber plant, Shri Nayak expressed that it was remarkable for Kemrock to achieve this milestone and he was happy to share this momentous event. He said “Kemrock and HAL have also joined hands together by signing an MoU for manufacture of carbon fiber prepregs. Initially, we were contemplating to have the prepregs manufacturingfacility at HAL Bengaluru, considering the proximity of our other facilities. But I was highly impressed seeing Kemrock’s commitment & capabilities at its world class facility in Vadodara which has made HAL decide to make prepregs at Kemrock, apart from the other grades of carbon fiber products".
Acknowledging HAL’s continued support, Mr. Kalpesh Patel, CMD , said “Kemrock and HAL’s relationship will grow forward very strongly and it is our commitment to take on these new opportunities together”. He further thanked the NAL/HAL team for the very successful implementation of carbon fiber project and the challenges which Kemrock took up to commercialize this ambitious project to serve the nation.
