International MMF Textiles Conference to Showcase the Novel Nanofibre spinning technology
November 02, 2011 - India
For the first time-ever, delegates will able to gain first-hand knowledge of the novel concept of "Forcespinning for Nanofibres" through video conferencing at the upcoming ‘International Conference on Manmade Fibre Textiles’ to be held at IIM Ahmedabad from November 18-19.
Fibre2fashion which is hosting the conference has roped in Fiberio Technologies – USA, which will showcase the unique nanofibre technology from the US on November 18th.
"Forcespinning Technology combines novel equipment and processes to enable more versatile and cost-effective methods for making polymeric nanofibers and metallic nanowires.
Currently the most commonly used method for making nanofibers use, either an electrostatic charge (electrospinning) or external heated air jets (meltblown). By using only centrifugal force to form the fiber, Force spinning works equally well with solutions or pure molten materials. Forcespinning – The force for Nanofibers is the beginning of the nanofiber revolution.
