Aditya Polysack expands PP/HDPE woven sacks capacity

Aditya Polysack Pvt Ltd has begun commercial production at a new plant to manufacture PP/HDPE woven sacks and fabrics in the name of Shivangi Polysack Pvt Ltd.

Aditya Polysack which was set up in 2009 started operations with an installed capacity to produce 3,000 tons per year of woven fabrics and sacks. This was further augmented by 2,400 tons per annum in 2011.

Shivangi Polysack has been set up with an installed capacity of 2,400 metric tons per annum in to produce PP/HDPE woven sacks and fabrics.

With the starting of Shivangi Polysack, the combined production of both companies will reach 7,400 tons per annum.

The two companies produce bags for packing in diverse sectors like, cement, fertilizer, food products, salt, yarn, sugar, minerals, animal feed, wrappers, laminated and unlaminated bags.

The group plans to augment capacity to produce various kinds of sacks to 12,500 tons per annum in the near future.

They are also going to planning to enter new areas like flexible intermediate bulk containers (FIBC’s) and nonwovens as per the diversification program of the company.
