New Range of Cycling Socks
August 27, 2011 - Germany
Constructed with ADVANSA Thermo°Cool™, the new range of cycling socks from MOA Sport is unmatched in moisture control and temperature regulation.
Moa Sport, a leader in technical cycling wear, introduces its performance cycling sock collection with a perfect fit. The collection features ADVANSA Thermo°Cool™, providing excellent evaporative cooling and thermobuffering properties; hereby, the perspiration at the sole of the heel and the toe is greatly improved. Developed by highly qualified teams at Moa Sport, the socks are extremely comfortable, durable and grant maximum well-being and comfort.
The well-established Italian company Moa Sport, who is specialized in the field of technical cycling clothing with forty years of know-how, has launched for this specific target market their range of technical cycle socks, which includes specialized socks for cycle rides in cold and warm climates and is designed to be light, well-fitting and comfortable. The socks are made with the technically advanced fibre ADVANSA Thermo°Cool™ to improve the moisture wicking and thermobuffering properties in one, with extra cushioning around pressure points. Evaporative cooling properties of the sock allow moisture to evaporate faster thanks to the unique fibre mix; the fibres are designed with multi-channel surface that gives outstanding moisture transport and improves air circulation in the fabric, focusing on the evaporation process. The thermobuffering properties are thanks to the hollow voids; the socks are welldesigned for regulation of foot temperature during a long cycle ride, allowing excess heat to dissipate into the air.
Their range of technical cycling socks also includes the eco-friendly option ADVANSA Thermo°Cool™ eco². This is ADVANSA ‘s technological and sustainable innovation, which offers to customers not only superior quality and high-end products with outstanding thermoregulating performance characteristics but also a more environmentally friendly choice, with less impact on the environment. Staple fibres are made using sophisticated recycling technology, whereby the polymer based on post consumer PET is transformed through a state-of-the-art manufacturing process into high-quality polyester fibre.
“Our latest collection is completely designed and made in-house, like all other items of our technical cycling clothing. We strive to give full support to customers through continuous material innovation and product development, tailor-making solutions for customers. We are happy to introduce ADVANSA Thermo°Cool™ as a new innovative material on socks which are made to support the foot from the moment you pull them on to the moment you take them off.” commented Carlo Masciti, Product and Style Development Manager of Moa Sport. Whether it is about production, the planning and design, the company develops customized solution of technically advanced clothing for amateurs or professionals who are always the focus of the company's efforts. Thanks to its technical excellence, Moa Sport is able to guarantee extremely high quality standards.
MOA Sport will be showcasing its latest innovation of socks made with ADVANSA Thermo°Cool™ at EUROBIKE / Friedrichshafen from 31 August to 03 September.
