Overall, the Taiwan pavilion made a strong impact with the Indian buyers who wished there were more exhibitors with a more varied product showcase on display. In fact, business to the tune of thousands of dollars was agreed upon at the venue itself between buyers and exhibitors. This specialised exhibition ensured that old business ties were strengthened, but most importantly new businesses contacts were created which augur well for future relations between India's fledgling technical textile industry and their Taiwanese counterparts.
