With an innovative medium technology, Freudenberg Filtration Technologies has redefined dust removal from smokes produced in welding, cutting and coating processes: Viledon sinTexx Plus filter cartridges made of corrugated polyester nonwovens with a nanofiber lining assure efficacious filtration of ultra-fine, difficult-to-handle dusts and smokes that have to be extracted on the spot. All Viledon filter cartridge geometries can be fitted with this medium technology.
Compared to conventional, corrugated polyester materials and to ePTFE membranes, the new Viledon sinTexx Plus media with a nanofiber lining offer four vital advantages: firstly, they have a higher collection efficiency. Threshold limit values for the workplace can thus be reliably complied with, employees and the environment, too, are lastingly protected from harmful emissions. Secondly, the higher collection efficiency is assured right from the start. Numerous filter media do not achieve good values until they have been in operation for some time: when pores clog up, what are called dust cakes are deposited on the filters’ surface, causing them to become less permeable.
