Turkey’s polyester and polypropylene based spunbond non-woven fabric specialist General Nonwovens has acquired a new manufacturing facility in the country’s south-central city of Kilis.
The new production unit will manufacture a special line of air-through fabrics that can be used in the filtration and technical textile markets.
The Turkish company is also expanding the size of its current factory location at Gaziantep in order to accommodate new installations for spunbond and meltblown technologies.
A successful producer and exporter of thermally bonded polypropylene (PP) and polyester (PET) spunbond nonwoven fabrics, the company caters for agricultural, medical and hygiene, filtration, automotive, textile and artificial leather backing industries.
