Discussion on biomedical textiles in implantable medical devices

Jeffrey M. Koslosky, vice president of advanced technologies at Secant Medical, will deliver a presentation, “Biomedical Textiles in Implantable Medical Devices,” during the Medical Design & Manufacturing East conference in Philadelphia, Pa. Koslosky will speak in conference session 2-D: New Materials Processing Technologies for Medical Devices on May 22, from 10 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. He will discuss the versatile properties and performance characteristics of biomedical textiles and the impact of textile engineering technologies in enabling device design.
Secant Medical will also sponsor a Lunch and Learn session with two industry partners to discuss “Enabling Technologies to Advance Device Design” on May 22 from 12:15 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. This event is open to registered conference participants. Additionally, Secant Medical technical engineering staff will be available to discuss biomedical textiles and their capabilities at the Secant Medical exhibit, Booth #2019.
