Russia an interesting market for German Sandler

Being a regular exhibitor at the Techtextil in Frankfurt, Germany, Sandler AG presented its broad product range to the international audience at the Techtextil Russia for the first time this year, which took place March 12-14, 2012 at the Moscow Expocentre.
For several years, the nonwovens manufacturer has been doing business in the Russian market, primarily supplying its customers with nonwovens for hygiene applications and the fashion industry.
At the German pavilion “High-Tex from Germany” within the framework of the Techtextil Russia, Sandler was placing special emphasis on nonwovens for technical applications: media for filtration in heating, ventilation and air conditioning, materials for the construction industry and technical insulation and lightweight nonwovens for the automotive industry as well as nonwoven wipes substrates and materials for hygiene applications.
Familiarising with the Russian market was the main objective of the first participation in this trade show. Notwithstanding, Sandler AG’s innovative products enjoyed high popularity among the audience. Especially visitors from the filtration sector took great interest in the synthetic nonwovens and numerous interesting contacts could be established.
The inquiries of the visitors at Sandler AG’s booth ranged from general queries about the company to specific questions on particular areas of application.
The German pavilion proved to be an ideal setting to showcase Sandler AG’s wide range of products and the company representatives complimented the design of the pavilion and the individual booths as well as the organization of the event by the trade fair organizers involved.
The Techtextil Russia clearly showed, that Russia is an interesting market for the nonwovens producer, particularly in the field of technical applications: Quality „made in Germany“ continues to be held in high esteem and the demand for innovative technical textiles in the Russian market is increasing.
Ideal conditions to strengthen the company’s presence in this market. And after this successful first participation, Sandler AG is already considering a renewed participation in the Techtextil Russia 2014.
