Tredegar Film Products will be unveiling a number of new products at INDEX11, April 12 through 15, 2011 in Geneva, Switzerland. Tredegar's new innovations include additions and enhancements to its topsheets, acquisition distribution layers and elastic product lines.

As one of the world's leading suppliers of topsheets, Tredegar is introducing several new topsheet grades at INDEX11. One of Tredegar's latest premium topsheet concepts is SoftAire(TM) apertured film. SoftAire(TM) is an innovative, sophisticated film structure which reduces skin contact area, leading to optimal comfort and softness. The product is visually and tactilely attractive and maintains premium performance levels for acquisition, rewet, and masking. A new grade will be available at the show. Tredegar also continues to build its FreshFeel(TM) apertured film platform, providing the consumer excellent protection levels.

Tredegar's ComfortAire(TM) apertured laminate topsheets are a high loft and flexible nonwoven laminate that combines the softness of a nonwoven with the strikethrough and rewet performance of an apertured film, enabling consumers to enjoy protection with comfort. ComfortFeel(TM) laminate topsheets have a cloth-like, soft, and drapeable film/nonwoven structure and offer high performance levels through the combination of selected raw materials and design.

The latest breakthrough generation of our AquiDry(TM) acquisition distribution layers will be available. AquiDry Plus(TM) accelerates the acquisition and distribution of fluids to the core layer for increased consumer comfort and discretion, drier and healthier skin, thinner diapers, and cost-optimized consumer products.

As an established elastics innovator, Tredegar Film Products supplies customers with cost-effective elastic laminates that provide comfortable fit and reduce leakage. New grades of the various platforms will be available at the INDEX11 show, providing the right balance of performance and value. FlexFeel(TM) and FlexAire(TM) elastic laminates are supersoft, high stretch laminates for diaper ears and side panels. If needed, FlexAire(TM) provides the breathability desired in incontinence applications. Tredegar's ExtraFlex(TM) elastic films for waistband and in-line lamination ofears and side panels bring ultimate comfort to baby diapers and adult incontinence products. ExtraFlex(TM) films deliver high extension and excellent retractive properties. Tredegar also continues the evolution of FabriFlex(TM) elastic laminates for side tab and diaper ears to meet the changing needs of the diaper industry.

Flowertool(TM) is a software system developed by Tredegar in conjunction with and certified by University L'Aquila, Italy, Department of Chemistry, Chemical Engineering and Materials.
