For the second time, Nice-Pak/PDI has received the top honor at the World of Wipes (WOW) International Conference. The WOW International Conference is sponsored by the INDA, a trade association representing the nonwoven fabrics industry since 1968, and a sponsor of engineered fabric related conferences and expositions. PDI won the 2011 WOW Innovation Award™ in Atlanta, Ga. for its new Sani-Cloth® AF
Germicidal Disposable Wipe. The WOW Award recognizes companies that bring innovative, value-added processes and products to the wipes marketplace.
Sani-Cloth® AF is the first and only fragrance free, alcohol free, quaternary-based surface disinfection wipe with an overall kill time of three minutes. Marketed to the healthcare industry, it balances strong claims with safety for patients, visitors, healthcare workers and equipment. It is tested effective against 25 clinically relevant microorganisms, including five multi-drug resistant organisms (MDROs) such as MRSA and VRE. Being fragrance-free, Sani-Cloth AF can be used around patients and residents with respiratory conditions and other sensitivities. It is also ideal
for bleach- and alcohol-sensitive equipment as well as other hard non-porous surfaces.
