Tatham unveils new medical textile machinery range

Tatham have a long history with medical textile processing. Carding engines were supplied in 1866 for absorbent cotton to full production lines for alginate processing in 2012.

Our specialist understanding of medical fibre processing enables us to provide machinery that is designed for the application. This approach ensures a quality dressing is produced and high value fibres are not wasted.

The technology has advanced beyond recognition. Fibre opening is designed specifically for different fibre types. All processes are controlled with the latest control technology.

The carding machines are manufactured in accordance with FDA regulations and can be fitted with automatic cleaning systems. Specialist needleloom technology has been developed to offer a cost effective machine at narrow widths.
