Jushi to increase price for all fiberglass reinforcements

May 23, 2012 - United States Of America

Jushi USA announced a price increase of 7% for all fiberglass reinforcements, including direct and multi-end roving products, chopped strands for BMC and thermoplastics, chopped strand mat, woven roving, and all other roll goods. The increase applies to all shipments delivered on or after July 1, 2012.

According to Mr. Gardiner, “We continue to experience cost pressures in several areas. Increasing energy costs have affected manufacturing and contributed to price increases in overland and ocean freight. In addition, labor costs continue to rise.”

“We constantly strive to improve our manufacturing and logistics efficiencies. However, we are not always able to offset all of our increased costs. A price increase is necessary to maintain our viability in the reinforcements market,” said Mr. Gardiner.
