CareGiver picks Akord hands-free disposal system

The CareGiver Partnership now carries the Akord Disposal System, an odor-free and mess-free way to dispose of adult diapers, briefs and other incontinence products, says Founder Lynn Wilson. It’s available as a complete starter kit that includes refills, or customers can purchase the pail and refills separately.
Disposing of adult diapers, briefs and other incontinence products now is easier and more sanitary, according to Lynn Wilson, Founder of The CareGiver Partnership, a national retailer of incontinence products and other home health care supplies. The Akord Disposal System uses a “step-and-drop” method to dispose of products cleanly and discreetly.
“The CareGiver Partnership has been working with designers to innovate in the category of hygienic, discreet disposal of incontinence products, so we’re excited this product is finally available for our caregiver customers,” says Wilson.
Users simply step on an easy-press foot pedal and drop products through a trap-door design into durable, powder-scented liners. The liners are on a continuous roll, so caregivers can cut and tie the bags at any point with a mounted cutter. In addition to looking stylish and discreet in any décor, the disposal system offers advanced odor control through its rubber-seal lid and spring-loaded trap-door system.
“The Akord Disposal System is especially useful for family caregivers who take care of those using bed pads and briefs,” Wilson says. “It’s easy to empty, clean and refill, saving caregivers time and making their lives easier, which is our mission at The CareGiver Partnership.”
The CareGiver Partnership is a national direct-to-consumer retailer of home healthcare products for incontinence, skin care, mobility, daily living aids, nutrition support and more. In its sixth year of providing products and services that help caregivers and loved ones maintain personal dignity, the company also offers an online library of more than 1,200 family caregiver resources and personal service by experts in caregiving.
