On the occasion of the International Motor Show (IAA) 2013 in Frankfurt Porsche Driver’s Selection is presenting authentic Porsche icons for office and home.

The unique attraction of the new, exclusive office chair and wall shelf: they are made exclusively from original sports car parts – namely, a Porsche 911 sport seat and a Porsche 911 GT3 Cup rear spoiler.

The two novelties are complemented by a 1:8 scale resin model of the Porsche 918 Spyder, in a limited edition of 918 pieces. The products will be available from January 2014 in Porsche Centers worldwide and from the official Online Shops of Porsche AG.

The Porsche Driver’s Selection Office Chair ensures that the genuine sports car experience does not stop with the drive to the office. The chair, in black car upholstery leather, is crafted from an original Porsche 911 (Type 991) sport seat and features stepless seat adjustment. The backrest adjustment functions fully electronically via a built-in power pack.

The back-of-seat jacket hanger and the embossed Porsche emblem on the headrest, typical of the 911, are standard issue for the office chair, too. The arms, which are also upholstered in exclusive, black original car leather, are adjustable in all three axes. The seat shell is made of silver-grey plastic. A swivel base with five castors ensures optimal rolling properties and comfort on both hard and soft floors.

The Wall shelving GT3 Cup provides ample space – not only for motorsport books. The exclusive bookshelf, constructed from an original Porsche 911 GT3 Cup rear spoiler, is an attractive feature for conference room and office, and makes any wall an eye-catcher at home.

Made from carbon, with a shelf span of 171 centimeters, the racing shelf weighs approximately five kilograms and can support a weight of around 120 kilograms. The Porsche logo decorates both sideblades of the rear spoiler of the racing car, which among other events takes part in the international Porsche single-make cups.

Sporting and exclusive aptly describe the 918 Spyder Model Car, which is strictly limited to an edition of 918 pieces. The resin model, built on a scale of 1:8, is made by hand and portrays the Porsche 918 Spyder in particularly accurate detail.

The high-end model of the super sports car comes complete with limited edition badge on a wooden plinth in an acrylic showcase (69 x 36 x 26 centimeters). The car is finished in the exclusive original shade Liquid Metal Silver.
