By combining Teijin Frontier’s SOLOTEX PTT fiber and Asahi Kasei’s ROICA polyurethane fiber, SOLOTEX OO achieves excellent elasticity in a soft, lightweight, and shape-stable fiber perfect for bottomwear applications.
Clothes made with SOLOTEX OO enable wearers to move comfortably and to easily slip in and out of even tight-fitting designs. Optional capabilities like high-level thermal insulation, UV shielding, absorbency, quick-drying, and non-translucency can easily be added to the fiber, widening the scope of applications and suitable markets.
Teijin Frontier has been developing various materials to meet growing demand for higher performance stretch fibers, and it aims to reinforce its business development in the clothing market by growing sales of SOLOTEX OO.
