By moving into a new 8,500 sqm site in Wuxi New District, China, ANDRITZ Nonwoven is further strengthening its manufacturing program for nonwovens equipment in China as well as its range of services available throughout Asia. The new facility has opened the doors to a technical center that hosts an industrial scale needlepunch pilot line and a new grinding shop.

The neXline needlepunch pilot line of 2.5m width consists of an aXcess card, a crosslapper, and a pre-needler in order to demonstrate the capability of these machines at full speed. The roll service center includes grinding equipment and a test stand to provide a prompt service of OEM quality to customers in China and other Asian countries for various kinds of rolls up to 1 m in diameter and 10 m in length.

Based on European technology, ANDRITZ Nonwoven offers full line solutions from its base in Wuxi, for example the neXline spunlace aXcess system. This complete production line includes an ANDRITZ carding system and a Jetlace Avantage hydroentanglement unit – a concept designed to produce lightweight fabrics at low operating costs. ANDRITZ turnkey solutions also include equipment for needlepunch and thermobonding processes like ADL (Acquisition Distribution Layer), filtration, automotive, geotextile, and coating substrate market applications.

ANDRITZ supplies technologies for the nonwovens and textiles industries from forming to finishing. The portfolio includes complete production lines as well as individual machines, rebuilds and modernizations, and automation solutions.
