Dr. Dong hoon Choi, a Professor of chemistry, was selected as this year’s winner. He received certificate of the award and ten million Won as prize money for the study.

Professor Choi received his Bachelor's Degree and Master's Degree from Seoul National University and Doctor´s Degree from University of Michigan.

He used to be a professor at Kyunghee University and has been at Korea University since 2005. As the winner, he got credit for endeavoring for research activities and training youth.
