The Toho Tenax / GH Craft booth (Stand SA04, Hall East 6) will present carbon- fiber-reinforced plastic (CFRP) solutions that help realize lighter and safer products.
Exhibits will feature CFRP products such as bicycle wheels and automotive exterior parts made with ultra-lightweight Tenax carbon-fiber fabric. Developed by Toho Tenax and Sakai Ovex Co., Ltd., the fabric measures just 0.06 mm in thickness, ideal for molding lightweight composites requiring extra-smooth surfaces.
Other exhibits at the Toho Tenax / GH Craft booth will include molded products such as pressure vessels with CFRP liners, which will be in increasing demand as shale gas development expands, and pultrusion-molded CFRP for electric wire reinforcement.
