Moscow to host 7th Techtextil fair from March 11

The Russian capital city of Moscow is all geared up to host the seventh edition of the International Trade Fair for Technical Textiles and Nonwovens, Techtextil Russia 2014, scheduled to be held from March 11 to 13, at the Expocentre Fairgrounds in the city.
Organized by Messe Frankfurt Russia with the support of the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade, Russian Chamber of Commerce and the Union of Composites Manufacturers, the Techtextil Fair is held once in two years and brings together professionals from the technical textiles sector of Russia and Europe under the same roof.
Around 200 exhibitors from various countries including Belgium, Russia, Germany, France and Italy would be showcasing wide range of technical textile products and fibre-based materials during the three-day show which is expected to attract more than 4,000 visitors from 25-29 different countries.
During the fair, several seminars and conferences would also be held where entrepreneurs operating in the sector would get an opportunity to exchange ideas regarding the latest trends in the global technical textiles market.
The fair would be showcasing products under various segments of technical textiles such as agrotextiles, construction textiles, clothing textiles, hometech textiles, industrial textiles, medical textiles, automobile textiles, Oekotech textiles, protective textiles, packaging textiles, geotextiles and sports textiles.
Exhibitors would be presenting a wide range of goods during the fair including fibres and yarns, wovens, scrims, braids and knitted fabrics, nonwovens, coated textiles, composites, special and protective clothing, etc.
