August 22, 2014 - Finland
Turkish tissue products manufacturer, Aktül Kagit Üretim Pazarlama has placed a repeat order for another tissue production line from Valmet.
The new Advantage DCT 200 tissue line from Valmet will be installed at Aktül Kagit’s mill in Pamukova, Sakarya Province, Turkey and the start-up is planned in the first quarter of 2016.
Valmet has previously supplied Aktül Kagit with an Advantage DCT 200TS tissue line which was made operational in 2011.
Valmet said it received the latest order in the second quarter of 2014, however it did not disclose the value of the order.
Erkan Tirnavali, GM at Aktül Kagit says, "Valmet's Advantage DCT 200 concept combined with Advantage ViscoNip pressing technology has met our expectations by producing high quality tissue products”.
"Aktül Kagit was an early adopter of the Advantage ViscoNip pressing technology, which has turned out to be an excellent contributor for improved bulk and softness combined with high press dryness”, informs Jan Erikson at Valmet’s Tissue Mills business unit.
Earlier this month, Valmet announced that it bagged an order from Von Drehle Corporation, which will be the first tissue maker in USA to produce tissue with Valmet's flexible Advantage NTT technology.
