Largest to-date Cinte Techtextil opens Sept 24 in Shanghai

Around 460 exhibitors from 22 countries and regions will take part at Cinte Techtextil – a technical textiles and nonwovens trade fair which opens this week at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre and covers three halls totalling 35,000 sq meters, making it the largest event in its history.
The fair covers the full range of industry product groups with 12 different application areas on display and this year’s highlights include international pavilions from Belgium, Germany, Italy and Taiwan, as well as an European Pavilion.
The two other halls E5 & E6 feature pavilions from China Hi-Tech Group Corp, Shangtex Holding Co Ltd and Zhejiang Tiantai. The diversity of exhibitors on offer at Cinte Techtextil China is one of the things most appreciated by buyers at the fair, both in terms of their origin and products.
Some of the key exhibitors among technology and machinery suppliers include; Andritz Group, Autefa, China Hi-Tech Group, Dilo Systems, Oerlikon, Siltex Srl and SSM.
Among woven fabrics, laid webs, knitted fabrics and braidings producers are Concordia Textiles, Conwed Plastics, Shangtex Holding and Taiwan Functional Textiles. Nonwovens specialists include AKSA, Fibrane, Sandler and Zhejiang Tiantai.
Gale Pacific, PT Ateja, Stahl Coating and Texadvisor feature among coated textiles exhibitors, while among composites suppliers ITW Dynatec and TTG will be displaying at the fair. Huntsman, Pennel & Flipo, Prochimir and Protechnic will represent the bonding techniques and chemicals specialists.
Companies representing fibre and yarn suppliers are Amann Group, Barnet Europe, EMS-CHEMIE, Lenzing and PHP Fibers. Other highlighted exhibitors are Groz-Beckert KG and Luwa Air Engineering.
Apart from the wide range of products and technology on display, the fair’s fringe programme offers those in the industry the chance to learn the latest trends in the market and product developments.
Over 30 seminars and product presentations will take place, with topics ranging from regional and global market overviews to new product innovations. The Innovation Showcase in hall E6 will displays the newest technology and fabrics from exhibitors from around the world.
A further source of information is the China International Nonwovens Congress. Speakers from organisations like INDA, the Taiwan Nonwoven Fabrics Industry Association, Autefa Solutions GmbH, Lenzing AG, Hismer Bio-Technology and a number of domestic companies will participate. (AR)
