Secant to display biomedical textiles at MEDICA/Compamed

Secant Medical said it will be displaying its expanded capabilities and expertise in biomedical textiles and advanced biomaterials at the MEDICA/Compamed International Trade Fair.
Secant Medical will be exhibiting in hall 8b, booth G20-8 at the U.S. Pavilion at the fair which is being held from November 12–14, 2014 in Düsseldorf, Germany.
According to Secant Medical, its added services will allow it to fully service clients and become a single source for their implantable textile device component needs, from resins and fibers to post processing and coatings.
Ryan Heniford, Business Development Director at Secant Medical Heniford, will also present during the Compamed Suppliers Forum on November 12 in Hall 8b, Booth G40 at the Messe Düsseldorf.
His presentation, “Next-Generation Regenerative Biomedical Textiles”, will provide an overview of current and potential uses of textiles in regenerative medicine applications and will emphasize factors to consider when developing fibers and fabrics for regenerating the human body.
“Our goal is to share the expanded research and manufacturing capabilities we have invested in as a company with an international audience,” said Ryan Heniford.
MEDICA/COMPAMED is a global market place for the medical supplier industry and product development.
With 645 exhibitors from 39 nations, Compamed is a specialist trade fair for medical engineering and the central meeting point of the entire industry, both nationally and internationally.
