Sandler to show indoor air quality filter media at FILTECH

January 20, 2015 - Germany

Once again in 2015, Sandler will be exhibiting at FILTECH 2015 at booth C1 in hall 11.1, with a focus on indoor air quality and requirements on air quality in public spaces.

At the new venue in Cologne, Sandler will present a wide range of synthetic filtration nonwovens like pocket filter media and pleatable nonwovens for ventilation and air conditioning.

“These media maintain their efficiency even after discharge, thus meeting the requirements of DIN EN 779:2012,” Sandler said.

Nonwovens for cabin air and engine air filters help improve the indoor air quality in our vehicles. Fuel filter media protect the engine and contribute to efficient combustion.

While, synthetic vacuum cleaner bags reliably trap dirt particles and dust and foster a higher suction power.

The subject of indoor air quality will shape the filtration market, regarding both filtration performance and energy efficiency, pertaining to particles and odour as well as temperature.

Due to a low pressure drop, Sandler filter media reduce energy consumption during the operation of the filtration plant.

Progressively structured filter media contain fine fibres of <1 µm and attain high efficiency as well as high dust holding capacity.

These nonwovens are resistant to temperature and moisture—durable synthetic media featuring optimum performance throughout the filter’s entire operating life.

Pleatable Sandler filtration nonwovens are also easily processable in all common pleating processes.

Their longitudinally oriented fibre structure supports accurate pleating; the utilised polymers render the pleats stable and resistant to mechanical influences.

A new booth design highlights the aspects affecting our well-being in public spaces will inform visitors on the versatile areas of application for Sandler filter media.

Additionally, the booth will also demonstrate how other nonwovens for technical applications help create a pleasant atmosphere.

These include, acoustically efficient nonwoven panels, applied for instance in the construction industry, form the walls of the booth and provide optimum conversational acoustics at the Sandler booth at FILTECH 2015. (AR)
