Conwed to show filtration netting solutions at German expo
February 23, 2015 - Germany
Conwed, one of the leading plastic netting manufacturers in the world, is set to unveil its latest filtration netting technology at FILTECH 2015, a filtration event to be held in Cologne, Germany, from February 24 to 26, 2015.
The international exhibition features more than 350 global exhibitors and gathers industry professionals concerned with designing, improving, purchasing, selling or researching filtration and separation materials, equipment, and services.
The company manufactures the leading netting portfolio for filtration applications. From extruded cylinder tubes, sleeves and reverse osmosis feed spacers to diamond and square extruded netting for pleat support and core protection, Conwed offers a wide range of customization options, according to a statement by the company.
Conwed netting can be found in diverse filtration segments such as beverages, compressed air and gas, food processing, heating, ventilating, air conditioning (HVAC), water and liquid filtration, and engines. Its extruded cylinder tubes are commonly used to protect delicate filtration media due to their strength and rigidity. They are used in outer shields as core protection in wound or pleated elements.
The company also commercializes netting sleeves that help safeguard and preserve delicate filtration media. Frequently known as scrim, mesh, net, or netting, feed spacers act as one of the layers of wound materials in Reverse Osmosis (RO) filters and provide vital separation between the membranes to achieve superior filter performance.
Ivan Soltero, strategic marketing manager at Conwed said, “Our netting provides essential protection, support and reinforcement functionalities to diverse filtration products and we collaborate closely with our customers to customize every netting solution we create.” (GK)
