GeoFabrics integrates Maccaferri & now to sell one brand

GeoFabrics, a producer of geosynthetics will now market its products across Australia and New Zealand under a single ‘Geofabrics’ brand.
In a press release, GeoFabrics said with the recent acquisition of the Officine Maccaferri shareholding, it has made two changes to its operations.
It has integrated the Maccaferri Australia subsidiary into Geofabrics, allowing it to create a single customer focused team.
Secondly it has also rebranded the New Zealand operations of Maccaferri in to Geofabrics New Zealand, thereby creating a single Geofabrics brand across Australia & New Zealand.
“Our Geofabrics New Zealand team will continue to service the New Zealand, Papua New Guinea and Pacific Island territories,” it added.
The Maccaferri range includes the well-known Gabions, Reno Mattresses and Terramesh solutions, as well as the rockfall & slope stability solutions, including MacMat-R.
It also has in its portfolio other leading edge solutions, such as the Linear Composite product range and supporting design software.
Geofabrics has been the geosynthetics supplier of choice to the Australian engineering and resources sectors for more than 30 years, thanks to our focus on quality, support and expertise.
Its geosynthetic products are used in road and railway construction, mining and resources projects, landfill and coastal engineering applications.
