K-C Australia’s Robbert Rietbroek now on BoD for AmCham

Robbert Rietbroek, managing director and CEO of Kimberly-Clark Australia, New Zealand, and the Pacific Islands, has been appointed as the new member of Board of Directors for the American Chamber of Commerce (AmCham) in Australia.
AmCham is Australia’s largest international Chamber of Commerce, which develops and promotes trade and investment between the United States and Australia. Robbert joins a prestigious and preeminent group which includes senior business leaders from organisations such as Boeing, PwC, GE, ExxonMobile, and AGC Industries, K-C said in a statement.
Under Robbert’s leadership, Kimberly-Clark Australia and New Zealand (K-C ANZ), has continued to thrive, becoming one of the most awarded companies in Australia for sustainability, winning six major awards over the last 18 months. Robbert has also made a significant impact on customer service levels, with Kimberly-Clark ranked as one of Australia’s top 3 suppliers to Australian retailers over the past 12months in the most recent Advantage survey.
Prior to joining the Australia and New Zealand business in August 2013, Robbert was based in the US and held the role of vice president and global sector leader, responsible for the $8 Billion USD Baby & Child Care franchise for Kimberly-Clark globally. Prior to joining Kimberly-Clark, Robbert spent 16 years at Procter & Gamble where he ran businesses in North America, South America, Europe, Middle East, and Africa.
