Reichhold raises European prices of few resins

June 01, 2015 - United States Of America

Reichhold, one of the world's largest suppliers of unsaturated polyester resins for composites said it is increasing European prices on all unsaturated polyester resins, vinyl ester resins and ancillary products.

“The increase will be effective for all orders shipped on or after June 8, 2015 in Europe of €80 per metric ton,” it said in a press release.

“This increase is necessary since raw material costs have exceeded projections since the price announcement made on April 1, 2015,” Reichhold added.

“We appreciate the understanding of our customers as we continue doing everything possible to limit the impact of rising costs and limited raw material availability on our product pricing and supply,” it observed.

Reichhold is one of the world's largest suppliers of unsaturated polyester resins for composites and a leading supplier of coating resins for a wide variety of markets and applications.

Reichhold has its world headquarters in North Carolina, USA and manages 19 manufacturing sites of which 17 are operated by Reichhold and 5 technology centers located around the world.

With 1,300 employees worldwide, Reichhold said it has the global resources to provide innovative solutions to the needs of its customers like composites fabricators and coatings formulators. (AR)
