Teijin to present para-aramid fibres at Interschutz fair

The Teijin Group, a world-leading supplier of high-performance fibres, and its Dutch subsidiary, Teijin Aramid BV, is set to participate at Interschutz 2015, an international trade fair for rescue, fire prevention, disaster relief products and services to be held at Hannover Messe in Hannover, Germany, from June 8 to 13, 2015.

The Teijin booth is set to present Twaron and Technora para-aramid fibres and Teijinconex and Teijinconex neo meta-aramid fibres for protective clothing and reinforcement applications, the company said in a press release.

High-performance composite materials that offer new value are one of the four business pillars in the transformation and growth strategies of Teijin’s current medium-term business plan. Promising fields for Teijin’s high-performance fibres include safety, infrastructure and energy, functional paper and filters, and mobility.
