Davron makes industrial oven for preheating carpet blanks
October 06, 2015 - United States Of America
Davron Technologies, Inc., an industrial oven manufacturer, has designed and manufactured the DTI-914, an industrial oven for preheating automotive carpet blanks prior to press forming.
In the oven, a carpet blank is placed on one of the two alternating rack systems that can be individually programmed. The racks enter the oven and are preheated by infrared panel heaters arranged in fifteen individual zones of control. This arrangement provides multiple preheating variations across the entire carpet surface, according to a press release.
Jimmy Evans, Davron’s vice president said, “We designed the oven so that a carpet blank is always being heated which allows for multiple forming presses to be used with a single preheat system. Temperature and output percentage are PLC controlled via touch screen to make it easy to change preheating programs on the fly.”
Davron Technologies, Inc. custom fabricates industrial ovens, providing turnkey design, and system integration services to develop thermal
processing solutions. Davron is a total industrial oven manufacturer, creating custom industrial ovens and precision process equipment for every industry that requires thermal processing. (GK)
