Lenzing hires Waltraud Kaserer as Communications head

Lenzing AG, supplier of high-quality man-made cellulose fibre to the global
textile and nonwovens industry, has appointed Waltraud Kaserer as the new head of Corporate Communications, as of January 1, 2016.
She will succeed Angelika Guldt, who will be responsible for communicating sustainability-related issues of the Lenzing Group starting at the beginning of 2016.
Since the year 2008 Waltraud Kaserer has served as the press spokesperson for Reinhold Mitterlehner, Austria’s vice chancellor and federal minister of science, research and economy, and most recently as his deputy head of cabinet. Kaserer studied commercial sciences and journalism, and began her career as a securities and investment advisor, according to a press release.
Lenzing CEO Stefan Doboczky said, “I am pleased that we have attracted Ms. Kaserer, a renowned and highly competent communications expert, to join Lenzing AG. Ms. Kaserer will further internationalize the communications activities of the Lenzing Group as well as expand internal communications.” (GK)
