Allma Volkmann to show machines at Domotex fair
January 15, 2016 - Germany
Allma Volkmann, provider of leading and energy efficient technology for tire cord and industrial yarns, is set to present latest developments in the energy-saving two-for-one twisting and cabling machine technology of the future for the manufacture of high quality carpet yarns and yarns for artificial turf at the Domotex Hanover, the specialist international
trade fair, from January 16 to 19, 2016, at its stand A22 in hall 5.
Volkmann will show the enhanced CarpetTwister and CarpetCabler product generation at the fair. This machine series received the E3 label for triple added value in the areas of energy, economics and ergonomics. The outstanding characteristics are the energy-saving spindle family and the maximum quality with optimum economic efficiency.
Spindle and spindle pot versions as well as drive and bearing technology will also be a part of the trade fair. With delivery speeds of up to 120 m/min during uptwisting, reduced space requirements due to smaller spindle gauge and the increased spindle speed, productivity can be increased by up to 45 per cent. Operating times can be reduced by up to 8 per cent with a number of new developments such as the pneumatic creel, threading aids, new pneumatic centrally adjustable creel yarn brakes and ball yarn brakes.
A new feature is the computer controlled drive system, which enables a quick changeover to new yarn lots and the change of production parameters. The optionally integrated interface for online access allows for effective monitoring of the production parameters. This includes options such as electrical power monitoring, display of economic efficiency and machine maintenance planning. As a result, the processes in a modern production plant become considerably more transparent and efficient, according to a press release.
The company will also display TechnoCorder TC2, the ideal machine for twisting artificial turf. The machine offers high productivity due to a delivery speed of up to 400 m/min and the compact twist packages with high package density and minimum length differences offer maximum economic efficiency. The machine concept offers ultimate flexibility in production for the entire range of materials and yarn counts. Autarkic spindles enable individual settings and independent operation of each spindle. The optimised balloon geometry and energy optimised drives reduce the energy consumption by up to 10 per cent.
