January 22, 2016 - Germany
At the Tire Technology Expo in Hanover which ran from February 16-18, 2016, Allma, a Saurer Group company focused on CableCorder CC4 and the energy-saving upgrade package for the CableCorder CC3.
“With the CableCorder CC4 we are presenting our high performance cabling machine, which received the E³ label for triple added value in the areas of energy, economics and ergonomics,” Allma said in a press release.
According to Allma, the CableCorder CC4 cabling twister provides energy savings of up to 50 per cent in the tire cord cabling process.
“The CableCorder CC4 technology shows in a very impressive way how high quality tire cord can be very economically produced,” the Swiss company added.
“In addition to the significantly lower energy costs, up to 50 per cent fewer yarn breaks and lower air-conditioning costs through reduced waste heat also substantially reduce the production costs,” it informed.
The added value for machine operators comes from a significant decrease in noise emission and the simple and efficient handling of the machine.
“Together with the outstanding yarn and bobbin quality, the optimum conditions for the highest level of value creation have been set for today and for tomorrow,” Allma stated.
Allma has also made available an energy-saving retrofit package for the CC3 CableCorder, so that customers with existing plants are able to take advantage of the innovative technology.
“With a retrofit kit that is easy to install, one can achieve tremendous savings and increase the quality of products,” Allma observed. (AR)
