Autoneum bags GM Innovation award in US

Autoneum, a global market and technology leader in acoustic and thermal management solutions for vehicles, has bagged the GM innovation award winner during General Motors 24th annual supplier of the year awards ceremony held on, March 10, 2016, at Cobo centre in Detroit, Michigan, US.

General Motor’s Innovation Award recognises five suppliers among thousands globally who brought new innovations to the company that benefit customers. Autoneum was named a first-ever Innovation award winner for Prime-Light, its latest technology for inner dashes and floor insulators. Prime-Light convinces with excellent shapeability, light weight, and a high acoustic performance, according to a press release.

During the event, GM also recognised 110 of its best suppliers from 17 countries who have consistently exceeded GM’s expectations, created outstanding value or introduced new innovations to the company.
