Lear joins hands with Tempronics for heating technology

Lear Corporation, a leading global supplier of automotive seating and electrical systems, has entered into a strategic partnership with Tempronics, a venture capital-backed technology company, and obtained a minority equity interest in Tempronics, securing exclusive rights to its thermoelectric seat heating and cooling technology for automotive applications.

Ray Scott, Lear’s executive vice president and president of Seating said, “This partnership will provide Lear with the ability to heat and cool seats faster utilising less energy than any other system available today.”
