Busi Giovanni showing Medical Terry Pantyhose at ITMA Asia
September 19, 2016 - Italy
Italian manufacturer of sock making knitting machines, Busi Giovanni is exhibiting the Medical Terry Pantyhose and the Rimaglio device at ITMA Asia in hall 4, booth B02. While the Medical Terry Pantyhose is a high-production single-cylinder sock machine, the automatic Rimaglio enables a typical classic linking to be achieved straight on the machine.
The Medical Terry Pantyhose equipped with full electronic control, has latch needles in the dial for the production of true rib, plain stitch or terry medical compression socks and stockings in compression classes 1, 2 and 3.
The machine features two feeds, for plain and rib fabric, as well as for laid-in elastic fabric and the compression graduation is achieved through the automatic stiffening and also through the graduation of the covered elastic yarn feed.
The fully automated Rimaglio is installed at the side of the knitting machine and after completion of the knitting operation, downloads the sock from the machine and transfers it to the linking device, where it is sewn loop by loop.
According to Busi, the sock is turned inside out, so that the linking remains on the inside of the sock, resulting in a perfect traditional-looking linking. After sewing, the sock, already reversed to the right side, is removed from the machine thereby making the machine ready for the next boarding operation.
