Manufacturer of leading-edge flame retardant (FR) technologies, Alexium International said it has received four new orders in September for its Alexiflam FR, Alexiflam-Crockban and Alexicool Phase Change Material (PCM) solutions. The four orders which total to $3 million have been received from the automotive, bedding, and carpet industries.

The new customer in the automotive sector has placed an order for Alexiflam-Crockban, which can be used for many applications as a barrier to dye transfer from fabrics onto other fabrics, surfaces and skin.

The bedding customer who produces fabric wraps that are wrapped around the foam core of the mattress is buying Alexium's blend of FR and PCM solutions for two different types of fabrics.

The company into carpets and a major carpet supplier to the transportation industry has ordered various Alexium's technologies. (AR)
