October 19, 2016 - Italy
On the occasion of the 75th anniversary of its subsidiary and nonwovens producer, Tessiture Pietro Radici (TPR), RadiciGroup will invest €10 million in a new nonwovens production line. TPR was founded in 1941 as a manufacturer of textiles, but currently produces spunbond nonwovens branded as Dylar and synthetic grass yarn branded as Radigreen.
To celebrate the anniversary, RaddiciGroup will hold a series of events dedicated to employees and their families, as well as release a special publication titled ’Come Tessuto Non Tessuto’, which traces the history of the company.
TPR currently has 130 employees on its rolls and primarily operates in two production and sales business segments;
polypropylene spunbond nonwovens; and polyethylene and polypropylene artificial grass yarn.
Dylar is particularly suited for industrial applications like construction insulation, automotive, agriculture, furnishings and single-use tablecloths for the hospitality industry, while Radigreen is used for the manufacture of synthetic turf for sport fields for football, hockey, tennis, golf, etc. (AR)
