Jenax coming up with second Lunch & Lab event

June 10, 2019 - United States Of America

Jenax, inventor of the first ultra-thin, ultra-flexible, lithium-ion rechargeable batteries, is coming up with the second in a series of Lunch & Lab events. The event which is slated for July 8, 2019 will provide a forum for Chicago’s product designers, engineering leaders and entrepreneurs to discuss how battery advances can spur next-generation products.

The event, titled “Powering Up Product Innovation with Flexible Batteries”, will give manufacturers of medical device, wearable, apparel, consumer electronics and IoT an opportunity to understand how to leverage batteries into products that are much more compelling for users, giving their companies a competitive advantage.

EJ Shin, managing director of Jenax, who will be in Chicago as a featured speaker at IoT Global Innovation Forum, will facilitate the free Lunch & Lab.

As part of the event, attendees will experience firsthand how Jenax’s J Flex battery—which can be bent, rolled in any direction and even scrunched like paper while maintaining its power and integrity—can be applied to their own innovations. They can also take advantage of confidential, NDA meetings with Jenax to discuss their products and roadmap ideas, and collaborate on how they can be enhanced with flexible batteries.

“Chicago is a hotbed of innovation for wearable designers, IoT developers and medical and consumer device manufacturers. These leaders are looking to create increasingly feature-rich, mobile, comfortable and useable products. But all too often, they’re limited by clunky, rigid batteries,” said Shin. “Paper-thin and flexible batteries can free them to unlock innovation and bring exciting products to market. I’m thrilled to offer this Lunch & Lab to Chicago’s forward-thinking business and technology executives.” (SV)
