Kordsa displayed its innovative composite technologies at Turk Kompozit 2019 held in Istanbul recently. It presented its new technology jointly-developed with Ford Otosan which lightens chassis systems of heavy-duty vehicles and includes structural health monitoring systems used for process optimisation, part qualification & online health monitoring purposes.

Kordsa also made two presentations at the summit covering manufacturing, processing and application methods specific to the composite industry. Kordsa gave details about its R&D studies, strategic investments, expanding composite portfolio and competencies to the participants with the presentation titled 'Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow of Kordsa's Composite Capabilities'.

Kordsa’s second presentation named 'Kordsa's Material Development for Composite Leaf Spring Production for Heavy Commercial Vehicles' emphasised the importance of lightening of the vehicles in the automotive industry in order to be competitive.
