Leading global adhesives provider, HB Fuller, aims to reduce energy and greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions intensity by 20 per cent, and waste and water intensity by 10 per cent by 2025, using 2014 as a baseline, according to the company’s 2022 sustainability report.

As of 2022, HB Fuller is on track to meet these targets, even ahead of schedule in terms of water withdrawal and waste metrics, and closing in on its greenhouse gases (GHG) reduction goal.

The company delivered strong performance in all areas, putting it in a favourable position to meet its 2025 sustainability targets. For the first time, the company has published its Scope 3 GHG emissions and made significant progress in Life Cycle Assessments related to its products' footprint and climate change impact, HB Fuller said in a press release.

The report also detailed the implementation of a new digital platform used in over 100 global sites. This technology allows for real-time data collection, analysis, and reporting on sustainability metrics, bolstering the company's ability to monitor and adjust its sustainability efforts effectively.

The company has also launched numerous technologies aimed at enabling sustainable customer innovations. These technologies are applicable across a wide range of end markets, including technical textiles.
