RJ Stern, the mining products division of Glen Raven Technical Fabrics, has developed a lighter weight, easy-to-install grid material for stabilizing underground coal mines.
Trademarked as "MineMesh™," the new material has received acceptance by the Mine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA) of the U.S. Department of Labor as a flame resistant product for use in mines.
