Seven companies receive Techtextil Innovation Awards

During the opening ceremony of Techtextil, International Trade Fair for Technical Textiles and Nonwovens, seven companies were presented with the renowned Techtextil Innovation Awards for textile products distinguished by a particularly high level of innovation. ‘Textile Structures for New Building’ winners announced

India ready to expand list of technical textiles: official

While India has classified 207 products as technical textiles for import and export, the Directorate General of Foreign Trade under the ministry of commerce and industry is ready to expand the list if industrialists give a list of such products according to their importance or export/import potential, textiles secretary Raghvendra Singh said recently.

ATIRA to present nanofibre projects at NICTT 2019

Ahmedabad Textile Industry’s Research Association (ATIRA) will present two nanofibre based projects for investors at the one-day National Investors’ Conclave on Technical Textiles (NICTT), to be held in Coimbatore on April 24, 2019. ATIRA will present an antiviral facemask and a water filter cartridge bottle, both of them made using nanofibre.
