North Carolina University named partner of Techtextil 2019

The North Carolina State University’s College of Textiles, a hub for textile research, education, innovation, and development, has been named as the first ever official academic partner for 2019 edition of Techtextil North America. The show for technical textiles and nonwovens will be held from February 26 to 28, 2019, in Raleigh, North Carolina.

Technical textiles to grow at 20%: top Indian official

India’s technical textiles industry is projected to grow at 20 per cent year-on-year as the segment's potential remains untapped, according to textile commissioner Kavita Gupta, who said India only accounts for 3 per cent of global technical textile production. She was addressing TECHNOTEX 2018, a conference on technical textiles in New Delhi recently.
