Indian sleep solutions provider Duroflex recently launched Duro Safe Mattress Protector, the country's first anti-viral mattress protector powered by Swiss technology HeiQ Viroblock, which, the company claims, can kill 99.99 per cent virus and bacteria within minutes. The technology uses silver ions and vesicles to neutralise viruses on contact.

AIT Bridges, a division of Advanced Infrastructure Technologies (AIT), a designer of composite bridge systems and structural components for commercial construction, has supplied the first composite arch bridge system to the West Coast, Washington.
