Teijin is developing high-performance papers #
Teijin's booth is displaying high-performance liquid cartridge filter made with Nanofront, an ultra-fine nonwoven nanofibre with a diameter of 700 nanometre. The pleating filter for beverage production uses a new extra-thin material that features minute, uniform pores. This filter achieves high-rate filtering, minimal pressure loss, high flow rates, as well as long-life and energy-saving performance.
The company is also showing the Nanofront bag filter for powder collection process that efficiently searches for dust powder and dust off by minimising pressure loss and clogging, resulting in energy-saving, long-life performance.
Teijin is exhibiting the new air filter, made with a combination of Nanofront and other high-function fibres, expected to be used in the clean rooms of beverage plants. High-rate scavenging is achieved using minute-size pores and pressure loss is minimised due to the filter's high porosity. The filter also helps to save on energy consumption. (GK)
