Teijin to show performance materials at PetroWorld India

The Teijin booth (Hall 6, Stand D-05) will feature solutions incorporating high-performance aramid fibers in a wide variety of protective wear applications for the oil and gas industry.

Teijinconex meta-aramid

Teijin will showcase fabrics and garments made with the heat-resistant, flame-retardant meta-aramid fiber Teijinconex, an excellent material for protective clothing worn in oil and gas fields.

India's increasingly strict standards for flame-retardant products and heightening awareness of safety needs in the private sector are stimulating demand for high-performance heat- and flame-retardant protective apparel.

Twaron and Technora para-aramid

Highly resistant to heat and cutting, para-aramid fiber Twaron is an ideal material for protective gloves. Teijin also will showcase protective apparel combining the strong, chemical-resistant para-aramid fiber Technora and heat-resistant, flame-retardant Teijinconex.

In addition to assuring top-level protection, fabrics made with advanced aramid fibers from Teijin also provide a wide range of features characteristic of high-quality garments, including excellent comfort, appearance, durability and easy washing and maintenance.

PetroWorld India 2013 is expected to attract high attendance, both domestic and international, highlighting the extensive production and distribution projects under way in India’s rapidly growing oil and gas markets.
