INDA mourns former director Ian Butler

INDA, the association of the nonwoven fabrics industry is mourning the passing of Ian Butler, the association’s former director of market research & statistics, and a distinguished authority of nonwovens industry. Butler died on December 3 at the age of 78 in Toronto, Canada. He was recruited by INDA in 1997 as director of market research & statistics.

Autoliv, a Sweden-based leader in automotive safety systems, has announced that on December 8, 2020, company’s board of directors have appointed Frederic Lissalde as an independent director to the Autoliv board of directors effective immediately. With the addition of Lissalde, Autoliv has expanded its board size from eleven to twelve directors.

A.Celli partnering with Ihsan Sons

A.Celli is partnering with Ihsan Sons with supply of a Doctor Rewinder designed for the removal of any defects in 100 per cent cotton spunlace reels. The machine has been successfully operationalised. Ihsan Sons, the flagship company of the industrial group Ihsan Pakistan, is one of the biggest producers and exporter of bleached absorbent cotton.
