EconCore's summit on thermoplastic honeycomb technology

Delegates from Europe, North America and Asia representing industries such as commercial transport, automotive, industrial packaging, construction and furniture manufacturing, gathered at a summit hosted by EconCore in Leuven, Belgium to share their experiences with the thermoplastic honeycomb technology. It was EconCore's fourth technology summit.

KNN Cellulose, Bcomp win biocomposite award

KNN Cellulose from the Netherlands, Bcomp from Switzerland, and Golden Compound from Germany are the winners of the "Biocomposite of the Year 2019" award. SGL Carbon delivers glass fibre textiles to Airbus

SGL Carbon has delivered two special glass fibre textiles, so-called noncrimped fabrics, to Airbus Helicopters for the new version of helicopter model H145 from. These materials are being used in the new, especially efficient five-blade rotor. Developed in close collaboration with Airbus Helicopters, the material has qualified for the application.
